Futaba PKS vs Spectrum DX3R pro vs Sanwa M11x
Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anybody had any opinions on the above handsets. I appreciate that they are alot of money and that there are probably very few people that have tried each of these handset and that at the end of the day there are cheaper radios that do just a good a job and that it all depends on how it feels personally in your hand. However I'd be interested to hear peoples opinions on them and more importantly I was wondering what radio most of the top guys are using? (wheels rather than sticks) Many thanks for any help or opinions Tommy |

from what ive heard or saw the spekrums are light but some have problems with loosing binds, ive never saw this in person only read about it.
the m11x are very heavy an bulky but never heard a bad word spoke of one, not owned one but used my friends plenty of times, he never has any problems with nitro or ep the 4pks is what i personally own, i love mine, not too heavy but its downfall is the receivers dont like heat, had problems with mine when running it in a nitro car, all i did was move the receiver an problem fixed, never had a problem in a ep car. heard alot of good reports on the new 4pl but not tried one yet.

Sorry didn't make myself clear. I live in the northwest as well and was wondering if there are any shops around here that I could go and have a feel of the higher end radios as alot of LHS don't stock the pricey ones.
Cheers thanks shortcoursegoat, some useful info there. Will check out the 4pl as well you mentioned as I hadn't heard of it till now. thanks mate |
