Just looking at the differences between an X4 Pro & the Blizzard, is it mainly the lack of a slipper, plastic shocks & a stick pack chassis (anything i've missed ?)
I just wonder if a slipper can be fitted from an X4 Pro ?

Slipper is a direct fit.
In fact we've done the opposite with the drivers who run 17.5 Non boosted. We've put the direct drive unit into the X4 as its about 1/3 the weight (rotating mass) Been doing this for 10-12 months NO stripped grears and considerably faster all round.

I'd be using either 7.5 or 8.5 SP/SP lpf from one of my 2wds, at least initially. It'd be a replacement for my largely unused Mad Rat so could transfer the alloy threaded shocks over & use my stick lipos too, just wondering if it's a viable option to race..

it also depends on the surface your racing, shouldnt be a problem if its low grip ie: polished floor or dirt etc but carpet hmm maybe not..

![]() The car will be fine to race, the main reason the pro cars have saddle packs is weight balance/distribution. The only other thing I would check is the rear diff casing. You need the new version which has the centre CVA at a 90 deg angle (flat) if it enters on a 135 deg angle you might have issues with stripping the rear diff pinion.
