Default Is Kidderminster a RC club?

Yes I know it is but do they have regular meeting there apart from regionals and Nationals?

I can't seem to find anything about practice, meetings etc

Cheers

They mainly hold regional, national and winter series in conjunction with Coventry club. Unfortunately no, they dont hold club meetings

Club membership is £5 per year and gives unlimited access to the track, the exception being when the track is closed leading upto major meetings.

I believe there have been some discussions recently amongst people thinking of running club meetings, we will have to wait and see.
The recently added facebook page might help promote a bit more of that discussion.

I've been a club member for many years now and always wished there was more "club" racing there but at about 40 miles away it's a bit too far to commit to helping run anything (still my 2nd closest club after Ledbury)

Default Great news!

Kidderminster Club is back, at least for a trial couple of weeks.

We have arranged to borrow timing equipment from Worcester on Sept. 9th and 30th.

We still need to finalise entry cost and the registration process (members of Worcester and Kiddy will be able to race for free). As soon as I know more, I will post.

Myself and a couple of other members are keen to get the club meeting more regularly and are willing to invest time to make it work. If these two dates are well supported then we can look at putting on more dates and longer term purchasing our own timing equipment.

I will try to get up on the 30th. How about founder members of Kidderminester club race free???

Long time since i raced outdoors at Kiddy, i raced on the old track and the bowling green (what is now the new track) when it was flat and just grass.

Cheers

Rich

Great news that there will be club events again, hopefully you will get enough enthusiastic helpers to make it an ongoing reality.
I still think Kidderminster is the best circuit in the country (although I have to admit there are now a couple I've not been to).
