Default going metric on B44.1 & T4.1

I have been thinking of changing my 10th scale AE cars to metric.

Its seem the right thing to because my 8th scale cars are metric and by doing this it will make life a little easier in the amount of screws and other fixings i need to carry.

Has anyone "metricised" their buggys already?

not being technical at all - what would the metric equivalents be of the 4/40 and 5/40 screws?
would i be correct in assuming M3 and M4?

Thanks

M3/M4 yes. The plastic could be tapped to metric no problem, but the motor mount might not agree with being tapped to M3.
