Some say they're good, some say they're bad! I haven't had any trouble with mine though Spencer; you can have a quick go next time the club runs. For the money I think it's a well specced radio.

The only thing you might have trouble with is the sticks may be a bit long as you've been used to a posh radio and you can't alter the angle of the sticks either.

Paul Knight sells the same radio under another brand (Tamco I think) so you can get it for him, I know the receivers they do work with my Core TX fine and they're only £16!

I had one of these and I found the response was pants on initial throttle input. I have purchased a good second hand KO type R and am about to convert using the Fr SKY conversion dont know how good it is but we will see soon. Good name by the way there aint many Spencers around lol.

I run one and it works fine. I have 5 receivers and use it on lots of different cars.
Avoid the one with black receivers that needs a bind plug, you're after the one with blue receivers and a bind button.
You can unscrew the sticks, two parts come off, leave the bottom one off and it makes them shorter.

Whats wrong with your KO, or is it the old one with analogue trims?

Mine is the Tamco one and it's just fine. Blue receiver. Loads of features and faultless performance. For the money it's a steal!
