Default K1 radio box :p

The most silly thing I have ever build for any of my car but just because I could I did

Hope someone does not crash hard into the side of my Cat thou....

Like neat and tidy wiring so this is made out of 1mm carbon fibre. The lid is secured by two alu M3. Two m3 nylon posts are glued with strong epoxy on the inside. Whole thing weighs 11gram.
RX and PT and capacitor sits inside plus all excessive servowires. Measurements are 48x34x30mm if anyone wants to know

looks neat, but i thought that carbon fibre helps to blockthe signal from a pt? might have issues with missing laps?

Thought of that . Made a pt sized hole in the bottom so it sits directly on the chassis. Double sided tape secures everything and if I have to remove it one day I just take of the side guard and use a long blade scalpel to cut the tape.

Looking in to it Stegger.
I already have a v2 in my mind where it have an angled upper/outer long side to prevent it being so close to the shell. In case of a hit.
1mm carbon fibre is very thin so some more reinforcement could be necessary before I am confident making any more for the public. This is the prototype and they always needs improvement.

Easy to ship it thou if you yourself provide the epoxy glue A simple letter in the mail.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that v2 will have puzzle like cuts on each part so they are not so damn tricky to glue together and it will be absolutely straight too. Then 1.5 mm cf is a much better thickness. Very durable construction.
A third option I that I ask my personal friend Fredrik Emilsson to make them with his 3d printer in the same material as his famous diff cover for the TRF511. Not as stylish but a great option if more people show interest for this idea.

Let me know. It is all possible. I would not be interested in making a profit. Just glad to see it it other people's cars
