will a cheap one work?

I use the exact same booster on my Tekin rs, with 1S. It works fine, but I also use a capacitor for the rx to help with the current draw of a savox 1251 servo. Without the cap, the servo still works, but is constantly "chattering".

I will be upgrading to an rc dynamics one at some point, as its output is 6v (one above 5v) and has a better current rating.

That same booster is available from hobbyking for less than $3.

Cool. I currently use a cap on my spectrum too as I found on 4cell mardave the servo also chattered. Nice to know both together work ok.
