From the picture, the B4.2 is a mid motor version...

Default The man does have a point...

Quite clearly from this picture, the B4.2 is indeed a mid motor car... assuming its a B4.2 and not some conversion kit... it does have the normal "B4 fat arse" we all know and recognise...

Hate to disappoint but the car in that pic looks very much like to be a Gen 2 Vega, Rear tower shape with the squared off ends and the X11 wing mounts are what it looks to be from that pic. I may be wrong though! its hard to tell.

Interesting. Zoomed in, the shock tower does look a different profile shape than the standard C4.1 tower.

Can any Austria racers at that meeting confirm or deny what they saw?

Googles....

Just found these shots of the meeting:

Not looked through them yet, i need to go to work ;-)

It's gonna be called a b4.1 centrotransformer.

Patrick drove a B4.1 with the Vega conversion, so no B4.2

I have just seen a pic of the car Patrick drove and it maybe the way I was looking at it but the rear tower didn't look like a normal centro one.

You don't need a new mid motor car now you've got your X6

it´s a vega conversion.

but no matter what a conversion patrick drive´s.
he always drives great. last year he was driving the b4 with rear motor and a great result.
hupo was also there last year with his dex210 and mid motor, but not much faster.

Yeah, but they sell 100 times as many cars in the USA.

Why would AE going through all the production costs to make a mid motor car for say roughly 200 people for high grip tracks. When in America and most of the world they will sell 2000 lets say rear motor cars for dirt racing. As much as its annoying AE are designing for there biggest market the USA. I'm sure cml no doubt have a c4.2 in waiting.

why not make one that did both like all the other manufacturers then your not going to gain anything in this country running one as the 8mm+ chassis have been out for ages and big bores dont gain you that much anyway. just a shame really they have missed a trick for making even more money with the euro market because I bet alot of us would have bought one if they run mid motor as well
