Default sticky wheel on m8

has anyone had to take they're m8 apart and clean the bearing behind the steering wheel. mine is not centering and i can afford to be without it so i was wondering how hard it was to take apart. thanks in advance carl holtz

You're in for the headache of the nation if you want to take it to bits. Done it once and took an entire evening of intense swearing and foul mood

Try tightening the steering wheel spring to make it center better. I had the spring too loose once and also had trouble with the centering.

I have the same problem with my M11 - I've taken the thing apart twice - the second time I got to quite an advanced state of disassembly - but still didn't get to the stuff behind the wheel!
I have tightened my spring up for now but I either need to sort it out properly or sell it and get a new one as I don't like the hard spring.
