Default Proline Holeshot's - Invernational

With a couple of weeks to go i have managed to source one pair of 4WD fronts so far, leaving me a wee bit short.

Does anyone know why there seems to be a stock problem at all the main shops? Will anyone be selling these trackside?

I've been told i am going to need 2-3 sets to last me Friday to Sunday so i'm currently 5 pairs short.

Anyone else having an issue sourcing them?

It says on CML's website they are available to buy but i don't want to put an order in just for that to be false.

MB have quite a few 4WD fronts in stock, both in M3 and M4 compound, however they don't have any rears.

M4's in both 4wd fronts and rears are in stock at this very second, only M3 fronts available right now, M3 rears will be in stock in around 14 days.

I've ordered a set of M4's as a backup, i've heard they work pretty well aswell and some folk prefer them over M3.

I just posted this on facebook, anyone find the same:

"Just putting a set of m3 hole shot fronts on wheels and those inserts are massive.

It's not fitting snug, im either going to have to trim the bead slightly which is the most likely option, or trim the insert. I'd say the bead is probably to blame.

Anyone share any experiences with them? I know they need the big inserts so want to avoid trimming."

Hi,

There is a good chance that the insert with the 4wd fronts are the same (similar) size to rear inserts.

Trim the insert so they are the same size as the wheel.

If you really need 1 pair of front M3 Holeshot, I've found this one in Belgium.

Default inserts

the front come with large inserts, you just cut them in half that's what I have done fit great.

I to am awaiting rears still not arrived. hope they are in stock in time or going to be interesting indeed!

You can run any proline front tyre.

8175 ribs are used by 90% of racers. Suburbs are perhaps marginally better on any rougher areas.

I have an extra set of rears spare in m3 if anyone gets desperate. They were for my friend who has pulled out.
