Default C4.2 conversion kit

Where can I find one in UK or is still just preorders from RC 10.com?

most model shops in the UK should be able to take a pre-order

Will Ae sell a complete version of the C4.2 to save the expense of buying a donor car to convert ?

Considering even Ae factory drivers are using the c4.2 on clay!

it´s very expensive to buy a conversion kit and an associated b4.2.

compared to the price of a yokomo or durango mid/rear motor car.

For that kind of money you can buy a rb6 and they are a far better car

Well dun to cml for gettin a top kit out such good quality and at good price!!

Just ordered my self a RB6 after running a c4.1 for what feels like ages !
Had a look at buying the C4.2 BUT because cml won't support track side shops
And the fact I have had a bad time with the two gear boxes I've had IT'S time for a change

I've had losi 22 and c4.1 with every upgrade on the planet but i wish i bought a rb6 sooner they a i woukd say the best 2wd car in the market at the moment and the c4.2 although i mite get the new car itch iam buying a sworkz instead of changing my 2wd because i dont think changing the gearbox moulding and making the chassi little diff so you can't use any of your c4.1 bit will make it any better than the c4.1 i would say the c4.1 was a good car but the rb6 is a great car right out of the box

True, never driven a rb6 but it seems to suffer like losi 22 no rear grip jus not as extreme as losi. But each to their own style

I raced my c4.1 and rb6 on wet astro and the rb6 handled alot better but would say would be more down to the driver than anything else you could give Neil cragg a hornet with standard 540 motor and he still go round faster than most people lol i just think money wise the rb6 is a better kit and think they should thought about maybe bringing a complete kit out rather than a conversion

If i have a B4.1 and bought a C4.2 conversion, what else would i need ?

It seems to suggest the kit is for the B4.2 only ?

Diff slipper on the b4.2 which make diff and big bore shocks/front wheel change to hexs which again alot better and not sure but think they upgraded the steering too and b4.2 is longer 8mm i think... I ran all these mods on my c4.1 made it a better car for sure just dont think its value for money a b4.2 is £220 and think kit will be £150 thats £370 for a 2wd buggy that some parts u just won't use again and my point still stands you can buy a rb6 that converts to both midd motor and rear for less than that

You wouldn't require anything extra.

All the changes AE made to the B4 were purely just logical upgrades. VTS slipper, hex wheels, big bores. With a lot of people gluing up their servo savers AE fitted the B4.2 with an aluminium bell crank (in sexy blue naturally). The shock towers were modified slightly to suit big bores on the B4.2 also.

Bleeding hell you must have seen a lot of RB6s which are wildly out on setup!

I've NEVER driven a 2wd car with so much overall and well balanced grip!

The RB6 naturally has more steering than most 2wd cars but it's super easy to tune in to any situation.

I am happy to help anybody with RB6 setups, awesome car .... ESPECIALLY in the wet!

Sorry for jumping in on the C4.2 thread ....

I think facts are facts but also down to the person that will be driving it but I've owned both cars and the rb6 is far easy to drive wet or dry

I'm huge Kyosho fan and I can tell you RB6 works great on wet, I can't fault the car with a good setup anywhere yet I've seen some C4.2 and I was very impressed by what I say.
Quality is very good and handling seems impressive as well.
They did a great job on that one.

Cool

As for me the B4.2 Works really well !! great handling and flewent in the jumps, but when winter comes I must convert to the Centro....So now I am thinking of getting another B4.2 Roller so I have a summer car and winter car.I agree with some that Team Ass should of did something like the Rb6 mid to rear
Motor conversion. In the US it's all rear motor and Sweden you can have boath depending wich Track you drive most guyz have two cars Centro &B4.2
So in one sence Team Associated should get with program as the rest of the Popular 2wd Copany's and produce a mid to rear conversion in one car.?
