Sure can I help with LRP-motors. I collect them and have a good number of them. I took me a while to get details for the old series but now I have vintage LRP catalogues with all informations  I`ve included a PDF-file with all motors from the Grand Prix II and X-Generation series. What an amazing collection Raimund.... its all those Trinity motors that gets me excited, as although I started racing in the late 80s those represent the 90s era in which I enjoyed greater success, racing with my 2wd Losi XX - Trinity was always my prefered choice for motors & batteries
 I've got a little selection of vintage motors including a couple of Kinwald Dirtinators - a D3.5 NIP, a NIP Trinity Slot Machine, a new Revolution stock (that resides in my JRX2 shelfer), A Demon Power King Stock, A Reedy Mr series in my YZ-10 Masami, a Reedy Qs stocker & last but not least an MG Orange Dot, which the first non silvercan Mabuchi type motor Bitd

Hi DerbyDan,
nice to hear that you also enjoy vintage motors. They are absolutely fascinating and I love to work on them, skim them, tune them, everything! Brushless is nice but brushed is much more, you get a real relation to each motor you tweak  I also raced back in the 90`s. My first car was a RC10 worlds car with a Reedy Sonic M, Aitronics 94151 servo, MIP CVD, RCPS turnbuckles, ...... Later I exchanged the original chassis for a Fibre lyte carbon chassis. Man this was light and stiff. Sadly I sold everything to get money for a Losi XX-CR. Finaly I must say the RC10 was harder to drive but had more sole. Now I have again 2 RC10 worlds, one RC10 similar to the worlds but without the origingal chassis - my race baby - and since shortly my first truck a RC10T. I`m going to post more pics from my motors and my cars. For now here is a photo from a `94 LRP-catalogue about the Grand Prix MKII motor serie Kind regards Raimund

You just dont see that with RTR's and brushless. If the RTR gets broken they usually leave it at the hobby shop for repairs and brushless motors usually never go down. Oh, I love comms, magnets, winds, brushess and timming. I love to build my own motor and get every inch of power out of it in the dyno. What I do NOT love is winding perfectly a custom 15t triple and get distracted for a second and loss count of the winds!!!!!! Lol Hate that!! Arrrgg

Sure I have some old nosram esc's I should have some LRP orange AE's I may still have an original LRP esc, the one in heat shrink before the plastic box and I know there are some old SRM scorchers and demon motors. And some tanaplan stuff

I completely agree that the tuning and maintenace of brushed motors was a skill that was once a large part of racing which with the inception of brushless motors has now been lost...
But I've got to admit that I don't particularly miss it, I'm now older & have more responsibilities & I'm glad that I can just pick up my car on a Tuesday night & race it without worrying about motor prep, skimming, changing brushes etc just to be able to keep up. I like the fact that you can now buy more power/speed than you can handle straight over the counter... there was nothing more frustrating than timing the top sponsored drivers down the straight & realising that they were gaining nearly a second just by driving in a straight line!
