I run my car on yellow mini spikes at around 17mm ride height on LWB. Shocks are quite soft so the car will roll a bit also. We have no jumps so don't need to worry about that.

Thanks for replies and links
Few guys just running brushless LRP blast and FTX vantage buggys cheap fun for now until we get setup, not high spec I know but we want to be able to drive them not just spin out on every corner so wanted just a basic setup and suitable tyres. |

Been running on polished floors all winter with a dex410 using 400cwt oil all round in the shocks 5x1.7 holes and dark red springs, middle top, outer rear in the front & 5x1.8 holes and light green springs middle top and bottom in the back, rear diff nice and loose, front diff locked or as tight as you can get with schumacher yellow mini spikes all round, I did try the nanobyte tyres and they seemed really good for about 1 meet then went to pot so stuck with the schueys as they are great fun. The first round is usually a bit slippery where other people have been in the hall but grips up massively after a couple of races

Favesham run in doors on wooden floor
2wd run yellow cuts staggers front minipin rear yellow or mini spike. Also a few have tried what most of the 4wd run and that full spikes in yellow scrubbed up on concrete. Scrubbed in mini spike work on 4wd well aslo. |
