Default gear diff for tamiya king cab

Hi

Does anyone know if the gear diff in the super astute gear set will fit in the standard king cab gear housing and mesh with standard king cab gears?

My KC diff is knackered and I would like to replace it with a gear diff, the super astute gear bags I can find have it in but I think this is for a TCC gear train, but I don't know if the housing is the same; if it is it should fit, right?

Hey mate. It doesn't work. The pitch of the gears in the TTC is much finer compared to the king cab / astute box and the gearbox housing is slightly different too. Better off putting a TTC in it or an A&L lethal weapon

Hey mate. Go to this website and check it out. http://vintageteamaandl.com/

I've used it in my astute for a fair bit. It's worked really well and had a lot of use

cheers
