In love !!!
First race day with the 22-4. All I can say is wow ! Loved it, really suits my driving style one crash messing around after the finals some how loosened up the slipper but other than that it was spot on
Is there a cover for the slipper nut ?

Thats awesome! Glad to hear someone else enjoying running this 4wd. The car has been slammed a bit too much I feel since its released and received a lot of undeserved criticism. The fact is the car is designed by the americans for tracks over there and tbh most of the rest of the world. It is only really us, with a couple of exceptions who run on such high grip. This has meant a lot of work has gone in to adjusting the car to our type of tracks but with any new car it takes time.
Keep the posts coming! Next time you might take the win |

The first words i heard were, "why have you brought that" The answer was in the results
Think with winter being upon us, and the track was damp most of the heats, the added weight really kept her planted. I am having a bit of a front end issue, need to up oil weight me thinks Cant help but smile the whole time the car is out on the track i adore it Ive got a plan to create a custom carbon chassis for it, i will 3D scan the chassis and machine a piece of carbon, which i will mold the front kick angle exactly the same onto the carbon sheet Rear towers too. Will be interesting to see if i can make a super lightweight 22-4

I think that's actually a great idea. The car is TOO heavy kit, hence why the team run a shorty. But I just think you lose the balance doing it and would be very interested to see that and how it performs.
Keep us posted 😀 |

@MaxBaker: I don't think there's a solution yet... but I think it might be possible to make a 3D printed cover for it. Send me a PM if you're interested

its a bit much to write everything on a post but I predominantly run on carpet\wood mix (mostly carpet) so here goes (ill start with mods)
shorty setup rear camber link mod 2wd rear hubs, driveshaft's shock set up goes...... front - 6 hole 1.2 40wt black spring rear - 6 hole 1.3 35wt red spring outer hole on bottom of rear wishbone and 3rd. Hole in on tower. outer hole on front wishbone, mid hole on tower. 1 degree camber all round rear hub spacing 5mm in front and 1mm behind 10g of weight on front belt tunnel 10 degree castor thin front roll bar 3 degree lrc rear block with 2.5 anti squat (hrc block may be better) rear shock mod (wishbones swapped with shicks on front of tower. anything else just ask

Fletcher......Nice detail on the setup. Ran on carpet for the 1st time a week back.....absolutely love the planted feel of the car but it feels a little lazy and heavy.
Now gone to the Shorty, got all the parts for the 22 Rear End (Shafts and Hubs)....also going to move the Shocks to the front. I don't normally make such huge changes at once but since I've hardly driven the thing in stock form, I'll bash all the mods on and make changes from there. Which Tyres and inserts are you running with this setup... Schumacher Mini Pins....Yellow....Schumacher Inserts? Where is your balance point for the car fully loaded inc the 10g weight? Also, do you know if the Cab Forward Body Set makes a huge difference? Cheers. |

I can only echo the abovefirst time out had a bad start stripping a belt a breaking a rear diff put it to one side, came back to it and rebuilt it Sat evening then ran it Sunday after getting use to it it felt smooth and comfatable just lacking the punch out of corners
What benafits does puting the rear shocks on the front of the wishbones?
