Spares and Hop Ups
Hi fellow Durango drivers
After a few teething issues and practice runs I am almost ready for race season and I wanted to ask what spares people recommend for the Dex210 v2 and what hop ups I should go for. Looking at the exotek shock parts, avid clutch and a few other bits. Also springs and shock oil??? And what do you carry it all about in. Hauler or something else? Cheers |

I'd start with rear front hanger , the plastic ones wear . Avid slipper would be a good move , hexes with the retaining screw . Spare Spurs if the standard slipper , and keep an eye on shock shaft ball joints stripping on shock shaft .

A decent ally servo horn is a good move also , make sure it's the same length .

The Losi 22 alloy horn is a good fit.
Personally I'd say alloy hangers, alloy or carbon steering rack and maybe the Avid slipper. The shock bits are mostly bling.

Watch the Durango video for setting the slipper, good guide line and shouldn't have any problems with it after that .

I have zero problems with the stock slipper, run it on the v1 and v2 cars and have had the 210 since it came out

Stock slipper is good (unless you have thin slipper pads, or the collapsing spacer!), the avid (or vts) extend the adjustability range for more different track surfaces.
Can't really add much to the hop ups list. Hangers in aluminum, plus the steering rack. Under servo weight, and brass battery stopper are good for tuning. As is the aluminum front hinge block (or brass if you can find one). Then suspension arms. I broke a lot of them...... |

Thanks Guys,
I have already done a front arm after coming off the track and meeting the metal fence at Mendip! I now have some spares of those. I will definitely order up an alloy servo horn, some slipper pads and the alloy hanger. I find it to be very well balanced at the moment so will see how it runs this weekend Cheers guys |
