Thinking about converting from a team c tm4 to the new charisma 4xs, any thoughts gratefully received.

Brilliant car I reckon we have one of the development drivers(Craig Harris) at our club so seen it for the past few months, with very minimal setup changes from manual for personal preferences it's a very good car, it jumps and handles very well just the price is a little high but they all are now, take a look on YouTube caldicot rc racers

Had a close look at kit today in my local shop and was quite impressed with the quality of the components in comparison to kits of the equivalent cost. Small Things like shock caps are aluminum rather than plastic. May have to sell tm4 to finance next evolution of my hobby.

Well I've just finished building one which I will run at Worksop this weekend.

Gone together very well. Diff snap rings are a nightmare but apart from that a very interesting car.

I've seen this car and it looks very nice, Paul is the crash test king for carisma so if it's standing up to his driving then it's a good car haha

Here is a vid we took of the car testing back in April at Mendip

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEUJHrVrF2s

This was an early prototype car but as you can see even back then it was going very well.

If you are looking for something a bit different but of super high quality that that will also have full UK support from CML, UK team drivers for setups and local model shops for parts then this car is definitely worth a look!

And if you give Paul a ring at Trackside Spares he might even be able to do you a nice deal and get it in the post for you for this weekend!

I visited Paul at trackside this week to pick mine up, and was amazed at the amount of spares he will be stocking for this car. He has worked alongside the team drivers to try and identify the parts that people will need, which he has then stocked in huge numbers, but he has also got stocks of pretty much everything else.

Most parts are amazingly priced. (hubs for 3.50!!!). All are now listed on his website.

Really enjoying the buggy Ivan, just wish I could have an ounce of Hara's talent. Still, no complaints as the buggy makes me look good lol

Caldicot club now has a number of these running and all drivers have seen an improvement I their results, to the point that the A final last week was nearlt all 4Xs buggies.
This is by far the easiest buggy straight from kit set up I've ever driven. We've been doing little tweeks and mods as we go along and it just keeps getting faster.
New stocks of kits have arrived and spares have been topped up. :-)
Facebook have an Xs user page for drivers with all the mods and banter
