Ran my YZ-4 for the 1st time competitively this weekend in the BRCA mid-east regionals at RHR. Really impressed with its 1st competitive meeting. Definitely more agile than the B-MAX, which in itself is a great car.
Looking forwards to refining the set-up now.

Its not about how it looks, its about how it performs, and wow does it perform when you hook it up, fantastic car, missed second in our spring league by a point, but then the car wasnt great for the first few races, by the end its been a missile!
Retired now as its 2wd time this next league Lee

Can anyone direct me to a dry high grip astro setup. Strangely enough i can't seem to find one (i can only find high grip indoor setups) at the usual sources like petitrc. Just looking for a base to start with.

My outdoor astro setup now, is basically my EOS setup, with one lighter roll bar at each end, camber adjusted to ensure no grip roll, and ride height adjusted to suit the track.

Starting at my EOS setup:
I only run the shocks 1 position more upright tad more ride height. Shock oil a bit thinner as it is a bumpy 1/8th track i mainly run.

This might be something for you. I am not sure if the shock oils are the ones I am currently using, they might be a tad thinner.

It's very simple like the guys are saying, take your high traction indoor setup and work from there. Good luck.

According to today's weekly news pdf, there seems to be a new topdeck on the horizon (Z4-003S). I wonder if it is the same design as the MR33/LMR/Techra item or a slim backbone, but I am sure we will find out very soon.

Installation was great! Unfortunately I cannot comment on anything other than that. Weather and minor health issues have kept me from racing for a while, and I am seriously considering to wait for the indoor season to kick off before hitting the track again. I guess a little break will do me good.

Guys, any ideas how to free up the drivetrain ? I have been running the car for 6 months now and the amount of drag is driving me nuts.

You have to put those narrow belts and alloy pulley on or I think there is a mod you can do with replacing a bearing with a smaller diameter one.

Yes. The one on the motor mount (rear belt)
