Guys,
How do you clean up your vintage drive shafts? I have a number of shafts that have surface rust or are losing their colour, is it just a case of a wire brush on a dremel and then spray black. What sort of spray is best for this? Also what is the best way to clean ali parts like steering knuckles? I only have basic equipment at home.. thanks Jamie |

Hi Jamie,
Personally, i used a product to blacken the steel which made miracle. I cannot make the difference between a new part ! You can find this stuff in a hunting store or the hunting section at WallMart . This product is used on the FireArm to restore them and it's not expensive . You can make a research on BLUING Steel ! When you blacken(Bluing) steel it is like a dyeing! I did all the parts such as Drives Shaft , Tie Rod , U'J , Diff Outdrive and also Screws . Here is my Tip ![]() ROY |
