Yeah cos that layout is only successful on the right track with the right conditions and the right driver, not to mention a full moon.

vinny. stick with the rb5 through the summer.run it at batley, maybe do some regionals.then come indoors choose a 4wd.there will be plenty to choose from.probably plenty 2nd hand top cars to choose from at around half original price with some spares!concentrate on consistency first then pick up the pace.for the majority of us slower definitely is faster.c u on 9th march @ 10 am.ta jez

Vinny .. the SP is the one on the left .... the one on the right was a trial used at the worlds and only a few have kept it on, most going back to the stock car as far as I can gather talking to drivers from both the USA and Asia.
The kit SP is a very solid, predictable car ..... perfect for club regional level certainly .... hopefully will be proven at the top level in the UK in 2008 too as it has been in the rest of the world! |

Lazer, B44 or D4 have got to be the "clubmans" choice in my opinion.
All will go pretty good out the box without needing huge amounts of work or spending on hop-ups. All are well supported in the UK with reasonable spare parts price and availibilty. Also chances are you will see other people racing these cars at your local clubs so there will be plenty of advice and knowledge sharing. Going by the price tags I would imagine Aeros and Serpents are goning be specialist cars run by an elite few. Maybe serpent have a better oppertunity to gain some market share as they are already a well established maker of IC on-road cars. As for Aero, certainly a specialsts car. |

Lazer ZX5-SP kit is part number 30077b mate. My advice is order one rather than buying off the shelf as the true "Global spec" SP is about to arrive at FDL ...... sweet!

LOL @ Lee ....... I think I will take that comment as a gross slatting of my prefered chassis and everything that I stand for an believe in ....... LOL
Only kidding ........ FDL apparently stands for France Distribution Loisirs (Loisirs means lesiures) They are the European distributor for Kyosho. |

Has this thread gone a little too off topic now????
Any further questions relating to Kyosho products please post in the Kyosho section where people looking for Kyosho information will be looking for Kyosho related posts. Do you think I got enough Kyosho references in this non Kyosho related thread??? |
