Default 2wd off road, what tyres

Hi, want to start getting things like tyres etc together ready for starting racing.

what tyres do you advise that I have available to use on the astroturf track

also what about inserts?

2wd 1/10th off road.

SV2 so pin fitment rims, will convert to hexs later,

IMO...for 2wd...Ballistic Buggy greens for in the wet/damp...Schumacher Mini Spike Yellows for dry...Ballistic Buggy whites in super extra grippy dry!

We did use dBoots Multibite B's this time last year, when there was a lot of sand around, but since the sand levels have dropped off not so sure they work as well as the BB's now.

People tend to use the Schumacher low profile cut staggers up front in the wet and dry.

Inserts...medium tubby type...various people make them!

Speak to Rob at South West RC...or visit their website...they'll sort you out with what we use as he's our trackside shop!

As Andy said, nothing beats the Ballistic Greens on the rear at the moment. Schumacher cut staggers up front in yellow up front for a good balance, but some people have also been using Schumachers 'Silver' compound up front for a little more front end, although won't last as well.

thanks guys, still piling up the bits LOL, at least they easier to hide from the wife than the motorbikes I buy

trying to get up to the southwestrc shop at some point for a look and some shopping, so damn annoying that I have a 200 mile round trip to my nearest model shop. sad times
