Default Square Crabs

I got hold of myself an airbrush last year and have been busy covering the cars of the Caldicot RC club in Square Crabs ever since.

So after much pestering from those who've received Crabs, I've decided to share with you all.

They're roughly in chronological order and should be more to follow soon.

So first up was one for Balders:

Next an S2 shell for myself:

An Ansmann for Huw Jenkins:

Closely followed by a Centro for my bro Andy :

A GT14B for myself:

That was 2011's shells, then Christmas brought me a new Hansa Airbrush which was quite an upgrade from the 20 year old Badger i was using...

A Pokemon shell for Alisha:

Some Ian Rae

A very hexagonal Mako for John Toole, based on a design he found on a football:

A Newport Rugby coloured Phat Head for Chris Steed plus my Bro's Phat Head:

First seen by those at the Telford micro national in Sharpie style for Craig Harris I developed the design a bit and painted it up for Mike Baldwin:

The same design transferred to a Phat Bodies Chunk for Mike:

A Phat Head for Liam Toole:

And finally an experimental variation of my colours on my Phat Head:

There was another shell early in the year for Huw, but i can't find that picture at the moment.
Is a shame as it was a concourse winner at the Swansea micro national…

Anyway, if you've had Crabs off me then post your pics up and share with the nice people.

I've got a few more shells in the pipeline so I'll be getting pics of those up soon too.

Enjoy

Cheers, the potential for gags is rather large.

"Crabs free with every order!" etc...

Really like your work, too many to mention and be able to go back through but you've got some very strong designs in their, I particularly like the hexagonal design and the Sharpie style one.

Great work, more importantly though fantastic to see someone doing something different and not going with the flow, although I wasn't aware crabs swam up stream ???

You think you've got it bad with your name, try painting crash helmets when everyone comes in and thinks they've got an original gag you've never heard before

They all look awesome, but more importantly (which i bet most non micro racers didnt notice) is that most of those shells are 1/14th scale which just shows how good they are!
