Of course!!!

All race days are open to anyone!

As long as you have a car that fits into one of the classes of racing we're running, your more than welcome to join in.

Typically we run anything and everything 1/10th electric offroad...so 2wd, 4wd and truck classes.

If enough turned out we'd run micro as well, but that's only happened once or twice so far.

If your new to the sport, and never been a BRCA member, then your first 3 races are free to give it a go and see how you get on.

If you race already and have a BRCA membership then come along and just pay race fee's.

And if your a returning racer, then we can process a new BRCA membership for you on the day for £14 (on top of the usual days race fee's!).

And if your looking to join the club, then we can arrange that for you on the day too...£25 for the year, giving you cheaper race fee's and access to the track for practice at (almost) any time!

So we have it all covered...whatever you'd like to do!

Booking in from 9am, racing from about 10am...or as soon as we can once we've moved the rostrum on this particular day!

Cafe is still going to be open despite the late notice, so hot and cold food and drinks available all day as usual

Bit of a low turnout yesterday, a few factors contributing I suspect...

I know a load went to the Offroad Wars at Maritime, our late date change wasn't ideal, Torbay are running a round of their winter series today...and it was blooming cold!!!

But the hardcore that turned up were in for a bit of treat...A DRY TRACK!!! Although most opted safe and stuck with what we had/knew with dBoots tyres...Kev ran Yellows successfully for the first time! And about bloomin time too.

The track has gripped up really nicely, and is now feeling much more like the astro turf we know and love from national tracks (and other astro tracks!) all over the country...once things warm up, and the sand reduces some more...we'll be chopping off rows of spikes to keep things well behaved!

But all in all, top days racing. Kev took TQ and win in 2wd, no other classes running in the end, unless we count Martin's 1 and only truck...maybe he TQ'd and won that class as well in that case.

Anyway, with dates and calender revised, only 1 round left now...I promise I will finally get the results up for the series...apologies for my slack behaviour on that front!

Quick pic of todays track...

And for the beady eyed of you you'll notice the rostrum has now been moved back...by 2ft...really helps, much better visibility of the straight now!

And finally, the parking worked well I think?!?, although there weren't many cars today. Access and general movement was much better so cars can now move around freely, we even managed to pop out to buy ink for the printer mid event...so first emergency dealt with

See you in 2 weeks...Saturday again next time...
