Extra race meeting...Sunday 9th June...Welsh regional...

Hi all,

Just to let you know the club is 'lending out the track' to the Caldicot club so they are running an extra meeting now at WORM on Sunday 9th June.

This will actually be a Welsh regional (both 2wd and 4wd on the same day) as the Caldicot club has logistical issues with running on it's usual patch this year.

We intend to run the the Welsh regional heats separately to anyone 'local' coming along for the track time so that you don't impact their series results, but anyone is welcome to come along and help bump up the numbers on the day!

Any 'local' results on the day won't be counted into our summer racing results as the Caldicot club will be running race control themselves.

The cafe already know...and quantities of food won't be an issue...the Welsh region is struggling for numbers a little bit this year, so there will only be a few heats of them we think...only 16 booked in so far from what I can see!

And since this is late notice and clashing with Tiverton we don't expect the usual numbers of locals either.

Should be enough for a fun days racing still though hopefully!

Couple of us from Chippenham club / bath area are thinking of coming down. Are there enough people who aren't running in the main welsh event to make it worth while?

Yeah, there should be plenty running, head on over! No pre booking on open heats so don't know numbers. Not expecting normal club day numbers as Tivvy are running, but we'll def get some fun racing out of the day
