I'm not sure our packers will be too keen on a new Haribo quality control checking system!

Sure they will if they have to open, say, 1 bag in 10 as a part of the QC process. (Then "discard" the box if they don't have the right mix).

By discard i mean "take to the staff canteen for redistribution", obviously.

I may be bucking the trend here but I have a minor complaint.

They don't respond to emails! I can't make personal calls from work so I have to utilise email for the most part. If I email with a query about an order I don't get anything back for days. I emailed last week about a part I have paid for and still waiting for and still zero response. Also emailed this afternoon to cancel another order. 31/2 hours later I get an email to say the order has been dispatched.

Not super happy to be honest.

I don't think I've ever had a response when I have sent an email. Maybe had to do 2 or 3 now and always followed up with a call a few days later. But I can say they do respond well when phoned up. It's a shame you can't get to make a call as they are very helpful.

I can vouch for them here as I have sent emails to them and they may take a few hours to get back to you but as the a lads at je spares have told me, they deal with 100's+ of emails every day so you can't really blame them, your best off trying to ring them at some point through the day, maybe on a break or something. they are top guy's

Hi Si2008,
I apologise for any delay's we have on our emails but as someone has already said is that we do have hundreds of emails a day and as there is only two of us dealing with the telephone, orders, shop and then sometimes picking the orderes, we sometimes have delays.
I am the Manager at JE Spares and we really need another person to be honest but that is another story.
Obviously if we have made a mistake please return the part in which you have cancelled and I will refund you the postage also.
Untill we do get on top of things you are better off calling as Nick Caro is the man on the telephone and he is ACE!!!!
If it is an emergency you could always PM me on here and I will get it later on at night when I am at home.
I do apologise to anyone that has had any delays but I promise things will change in the near future.

Just to wrap up my minor complaint (if you could call it that) Not only did Stu respond personally and apologise for the delay in responding to my email, he also sent me a free Glow Plug (and Haribo of course) which arrived this morning.

It's that sort of customer service that will keep me coming back with more orders.

That is why JE spares is great. As I have full confidence if I had a problem they would sort it. Other shops I have dealt with have been so poor in rectifying problems.
