Default Losi 8 tekin help

Ok Guys i have a losi 8 e with a 1700 and a rx8.
I have had the car for a few months now but only used it with the charge it came with as no charger.
Now i have this imax b8 and i want to charge this up but i want to get it right so i don't do any damage to the lipo.
Can any body give me some pointers on this set up please.
Thanks Leon

8amps on 4s setting, I would balance charge too, so plug the balance plug into the side of the charger.

I don't think that charger goes to 8amps though?

Iv never run a Tekin motor so not sure buddy, I have read most guys use 1700 in buggys on 4s, if it's a larger track a 1900, bit from what I have read both are perfect for a buggy

Go on rctech.net loads of great info on electric 8ths as they are well into them in the US

Just if you haven't got the hang of it yet, connect your charger to your power supply. Keep clicking Batt type till you get LiPo select it and do your amp and voltage you've got referee to batterey. Then hold select or go click again to confirm and your batt should start charging need any more indepth help please feel free to PM me.
