It was my first National this year too and i've got to say, apart from the 2 shock towers i broke in practice it was a brilliant day, a little more strict than iam used to but still a great atmosphere Even ended up winning my final, RESULT!
Roll on RHR, 6th reserve at the minute but fingers crossed. |

Just thinking, is that 5 different 2wds (Tam, X-Fac, Assoc, Schu and Losi) in the top 10? And 8 (Tam, X-Fac, Schu, Assoc, Yok, Durango, Pred, Losi) different 4wds?
That's bloody good competition!!

Thankyou from Talywain
I would just like to say How much we enjoyed having you all at Talywain.
We had great fun winding you all up as you came through scrutineering. from the Left Uncle Matt, Axeman, Reg, Mikey G and at the back Steve Harris There was a great atmosphere at track side all weekend, The banter comming off the hill was funny to listen to... sorry Gaz it was at your expense but I do believe Belston started it. We will be running once a month at Talywain open to all classes, it would be nice to see you return for more practice of the back jump. The track will be open most saturdays for practice from 2pm. If you require any more info of when we are running next please feel free to PM me. |

Shaun, was it the 4wd L final you were in? Not sure if it was your name I remember seeing on the results sheet?
...I could be completely wrong...so I apologise if I am...but if I'm right I couldn't help thinking, with your profile name on here, for the best part of the 5 minutes people were watching a welsh driver (aka...me) chasing a sheep around a field!!!

Couple of slow-mo clips from Tally. Unfortunately the quality through youtube is appauling . They're a bit repetitive, Jimmy has the better ones which will hopefully be included in his video

Oh that's fantastic! The kit designers will be loving that sort of footage, you can really see how the car behaves to the bumps etc.
Nice one. What camera did you use? |
