How many rounds of qualifying is it please?

Can we use the power from inside the hall?

thanks
four rounds of qualifying, one final each.

Power, dunno, last time they did have pitting inside, but you would need that confirming from some of the Caldi Massive.....

There will be pitting inside and therefore power, but you'll need your own tables.
No butty van, but we'll have chocs, crisps, cans and pot noodles! We're trying to get some more catering organised and will keep this topic updated.

Me n Dan had a look over the grassy patch outside last week and couldn't see much that would be very challenging, however ..... the brick built cutout by the entrance door world make an interesting "bomb hole"

Lol, I think yours (and my) idea of challenging is very much different from racing on what you would class as a touring car track made of grass

You two gonna enter??

We're just working to confirm a schedule for the day, and as soon as we do have it confirmed we'll put details on here...so watch this space!

And don't worry guys, the track will def be fun, the grass isnt hiding any bomb holes or table tops, but there is a bit of banked section, and plenty of shape to it so it's no snoring car track either

Gonna book the kids in, so lets make sure you don't have to go mad to race the track (so any cross-overs, you got a wimp out bridge)...

There's nothing wrong with a slightly tamer grass track... what happened about finding decent lines, getting a good flow and not worrying about obstacles or sections of track that can damage your car & wallet if your not a brilliant driver... ?

It will be great to race on a old-skool type grass track again

I can say that there will definately not be any cross overs and there definitely won't be any obstacles.

You do realise you said all that after racing and enjoying GNR

Yup Si even after 3 breakages and 2 retirements at GNR i did enjoy it

Only thing that REALLY got me annoyed was the large jump, because you could not roll it when it got worn - it was sheer drop. Thats where all my breakages happened... Apart from that, i didnt really mind the rest as you could drive slower if you needed to when it got worn.

That's gonna be a excellent track next year with a few tweaks

Anyway, back to our excellent-to-be grass track...

Oh no pressure then!

BTW, we would appreciate as much help as possible setting up on the Saturday and putting away at the end of racing, so this is an appeal to all club members who would be able to spare the time to make this meeting a success!
