Default Racing at York saturday 12th may club night

Club night racing is on this saturday 12th may. Peter and his shop will not be there, so make sure you've got your spares with you. We are planning on running a truck/short course heat, dependant on numbers, so get your trucks ready to race if you've got one and reply if you are planning on taking part.

Thanks to those who stayed behind to pack away the track doubly quick on saturday night!

Jerry Ibbotson and myself will be running race control in Mike Cockrill's absence this coming saturday.
Mike Riley should be bringing the trailer for 6pm this saturday, so we'll need to be extra quick building the track.
If we get more people helping set up the track each week, we'll get racing started earlier.

Many hands make light work!!
We might have time for an extra round of racing and extended finals!!

Please help packing away at the end of the night too, rather than going home after you've marshaled, even just dragging stuff through from the main hall to the door helps.
We'll have it done quicker so we can all get home at a reasonable time! Thanks.

I will be having a go with Edwards SC10 so it would be good if we could get at least 5 trucks there.

I'll be bringing my T4 truck and might try out my B4 for a change from 4wd.

I've uploaded my idea for the track on YORCC facebook group.
Search YORCC on facebook and ask to be added to the group.

I'm quite happy adding anyone to the group (facebook)

I think the posts are open for all to view though.

Rob,

I had a look at the trck layout on facebook (had to use the wifes computer as don't use facebook).

Crossover I think is a good idea that will result in an expensive night for me! My youngest sons car is just not quick enough to clear it. Every lap will be a lottery as to what will get brocken when a car falls into the path of another. Good fun for the mods but not the 540.

I'll be helping Derek out with the scrutonering at the Nationals at RHR, so will miss another weeks racing.

Look forward to hearing about the carnage the cross over creates.

For Maximum distruction, I vote putting Matt 'Clown Feet' Gregg at the marshelling point immediately by the cross-over.

I was going to point that out - better that he does it himself though!

don't worry, we have discussed it on facebook and won't be doing the cross over. i have drawn up another plan for the middle of the track but not uploaded it yet. It was decided that it would be too risky, due to the numbers of newcomers we've had recently.

Good to hear newcomers have been coming recently. Hopefully wont feel too intimidated when we finally get up there (now I have a 1/10th at last)
