no matter how much i screw the nut of the slipper the clutch still slipping .

pads are seated correctly in the spur? they can easily drop out when it's loose.

Check the layshaft isn't worn. If it is, remove the burr from the inside and outside, you might need to use a 5x7x0.2 shim to make up for the material that has worn away.

Had the same problem. The slipper pads wear very quickly. I put b4.1 pads on mine and it was fine. Check the tube that goes on the layshaft is ok too

Someone had the same issue at a club meeting last week, I sorted some new pads out and still the same, suggested checking there was nothing wrong in the gearbox. After he had took apart and rebuilt it was fine and flipping wheelies everywhere. May be worth checking there is nothing up inside the gearbox.

check the circlip in the diff
many people have had similar issues and its because the circlip in the diff has popped off when tightening
its possible that by loosening the diff the circlip will pop back into place
the solution seems to be an after market steel circlip

Yes check the diff i thought it was slipper too then i got gear diff and it fixed everything

Came across a slipping slipper last night in a pals car that's fitted with a gear diff. No matter what we tried it wouldn't stop slipping.

Ive got the same problem, i tightend the diff all the way down(just for testing), put in ae pads and tightend the slipper nut all the way down.
No matter what i do it keeps slipping
I can even make it slip by keeping the wheels pushed down and turning the spur with my hand

Wonder if there's some suspect pads in the latest batch to hit the shops. Pal is going to try the pads from his 410 to see if they work.

I usually find that the problem is with the aluminium spacer on the layshaft. You need to file it down slightly and place a small shim either side of it but make sure there is still a bit of play in the shaft when the gearbox is together. You can also place a shim after the bearing but before the first slipper pad which will allow the slipper to be tightened. I use AE pads as they are thicker than the original Durango ones and once I did this I have never had the problem again.

I have the same problem, dump the Durango pads.
Get your hands on a set of AE B4.1 pads.

Since I changed them on my car I has been perfect.

My Durango pads lasted about 3 meetings, my ae ones I bought to replace them have lasted ever since (6 months?)

I use Schumacher Slipper pads, these fit the std spur fine and seem to work well. Just another option....

The alloy tube on the layshaft wears. It's a known problem. There's a new hard anodised one coming. That's the problem.

That is indeed the problem another problem is that its only coming not actually here!!!
