Default DB1

Does the donor ZX-5 need to be any particular model e.g. an FS or will any ZX-5 do?

Can't find much info on this.

M.

I think it needs to be an FS2/FS the older laser is different in design.

I asked Tony about it and got this reply:

"Hi yah Steve

You will need the slightly longer rear wishbones as the SP has but otherwise
yes that will work."

I was asking about my zx5sp (Non fs)

You will also need the FS slipper assembly and mounts too (not tried the SP motor mount but it is quite a bit different to look at ... which may mean nothing)

I currently have the SP gearbox on my DB1, trying it in combination with different driveshaft configurations to see if we can find any more time (essentially raising the diff gives more driveshaft plunge thus increased roll resistance).

How do you like the feel of the car in general? I think about a similar Yokomo-based construction...
