Default Help discharging my transmitter

Hi guys can anyone help?

I have a ko vantage esprit 2 and the batss dont really hold charge any more so i thought id give them a cycle charge (at this point ill say there 9.6v nicads),i have a etronix 4-1 charge but i dont know what to set up the amp and volt for it to start the cycle.

So wa im asking is wh at do i set the amps and volts at for a cycle charge(discharge-charge).

I think I cycled at about 0.5-1A discharge and a similar charge rate. That was on 2400mah cells.
I was more worried about the connection heating up than the batteries.
