Racing in Hampshire/ Anywhere within an hour an half ish this weekend?

Hi,

For those who remember me starting a thread about moving to the area I am now here full time and as the title states I am looking for somewhere this weekend to give my thumbs some exercising

I have noticed that the regional for this area in watford is on this weekend so there might not be anything on. Is this regional 2wd or 4wd? I could possibly come for it how ever I have already scored full points in the north east region for both classes. If I were to come along would I be put into a none regional heat or race with everyone else? I am not interested in points due to me counting in the NE just I wouldnt be interested in traveling all that way just to be put into a seperate none regional heat but would come if I could race with everyone else. (Like I say I am not interested in the points just the day competition.

Also if there are any other places you can think of please let me know.

Hi, the regional is for 4wd, if you are doing 2wd or the 4wd open you would be in seperate heats to the 4wd regional class, entry is looking OK at around 70, but still plenty of spcaes if you wish to come along and race. Booking in is on the club website - www.dmsresults.co.uk

Okay thanks for the info Darren. If it was closer to me I would come but as I will be in a seperate heat/finals I might leave it. I will be entering the full regionals next year though

Quick question darren is the anywhere down this way that run an indoor winter series or indoor club racing? I used to race at worksop during the winter and was looking for something similar down here. Plus a regular indoor club for the winter months. For off road.

I will pop down to the Surrey and Hants club on sunday, looks cool Is racing definatly on this sunday? Will I be okay running 4wd?

Hi, you wont be seperate in your finals etc (ie on your own), you will just be in with the 2wds, but some of them that are entered are pretty fast and will more than give you a run for your money with a 2WD.

There are several clubs, oursleves icluded who run indoors over the winter (we run all year round, indoors on a Thusrday night, with a winter series starting this week (tonight).

I would very much doubt and be surpirised if SHRCCC is running this week due to the regional here at Watford

and as you know DMS are indoors, Telstar in Milton Keynes indoors, and grass outdoors (Sat 17th see Matty above) sometimes.

Surrey & Hants are astro and floodlit so almost indoors just need a roof etc.. (as above check they are open this Sunday)

You can get outside in Swindon and Torch - check times. (I am seeing showers Sunday, dry Saturday)

Hi Guys and Superstar. All the action in the region is at the Mid South 4wd Regional at Darren's club DMS in Watford this Sunday, you'll be best off going there and getting some full days racing for your buck.

We, like Torch are having a little scrub up followed by some practice for locals and any stragglers
