Default LRP SPHERE

hi all,

is there anybody on this site that can repair my lrp speedo?
it needs at least one new tab replacing
tab as in where the the live wire solders onto the speedo
its been re soldered that many times the copper piece has worn out so now the solder wont stick to the tab,
i know the waranty is void, just wondering if there was someone that fixes them,
thanks for your time, rob.

The solder pad is part of the PCB so probably not repairable.

You could try soldering onto the PCB inside the case and making a hole/slot for it?

This is a photo of the top PCB of the lrp sphere.
If your tab it is not 100% broken you could try to remove the solder mask layer near the tab in order to create a new sort of solder tab.
Basically you have to scratch the paint on the green PCB part near the tab until you see the copper.
Also note that the center tab probably does not have enough "green area" in order to be repaired using this method.

HTH
