Default KO Universe lipo battery

Has anyone fitted a 2300mAh 7.4v lipo into their transmitter?

Are there problems doing this? How did you go about it. Remove the springs and cut the battery box to allow the wires to pass through and swap the connector over??

Yep needs 3s lipo. I got one from rclazy and although a tight fit, I've used since jan/feb and charged it once!

The IP2300 3s 11.1v unit is what you need as 7.4v is not enough to run the transmitter. This fits, but you have to remove the spring retainer from the battery tray (it slides out). Make sure when you put the futaba style plug back in its the right way up to.
