Default new mid mounted 2wd haha

I have to laugh when i see all these "new" mid mounted kits coming out that cost an arm and a leg

Ive just got one. It cost a fiver on ebay, has a mid mounted motor and a gear diff

The front diff of this originally 4wd car was goosed so i threw it and the belt away in favour of a 2wd car

Shell cost £4 and has had the haggis treatment. Add a hpi flux motor and esc and the rtr radio out of my b4.1 and there you have it

a complete cow of a race car

just stick the front of the chassis in a vice and bend it back a bit to give more caster, then go play!!

I'd say this is quite the opposite of the RudeBits DB1: The cheapest mid-motor conversion ever? Please let us know how she handles!

Not a good idea: that 's the cheap lazer 'sport' or something, or "2000"?
Anyway: ABS chassis don't lend themselves very well for a permanent bend

It really needs a topdeck I think

Its a Lazer alpha, the lazer 2000 was the much later version with yellow shocks

Handles like its on rails in the street, but ive yet to try it on a club night cause the speedo and motor has been nicked for my short course truck

Ive got a reedy 3300kv ready to go so im just waiting on an appropriate speedo!
