Default SP LPF Firmware upgrade

Anybody know how to upgrade the firmware on a Speed Passion LPF 2.0?

Heard you can maybe take it to the same as the HPI Flux / Hobbywing.

Would be keen to hear from somebody who has done it already, if it's possible!

nope and nope.

Does it have to be the speed passion program card to do it?

Do you have to apply Speed Passion firmware to it?

... or can you use another programming box to connect through to the ESC (I have the HPI box) and can you put a different firmware on the ESC, e.g. HPI / Hobbywing.

or alternatively, does the SP irmware upgrade route give you the ability to add boost / turbo to the LPF ESC ? .. in which case it would be worth finding a SP box to borrow.

i dont know why you would want to run anything other than the sp firmware as they are great.. once you have upgraded/downloaded your new firmware you will have turbo/timing/boost options..

Thanks.

I've downloaded the SP USB software ... Do you have to use the SP box to connect through to the USB? ... Or will a box from another manufacturer allow me to connect through?

Random question, I know. Just we don't have an SP box available but do have a hpi box.

I've used a Speed Passion LCD Program Box on a Hobbywing ESC !
with No Problems, worked well.

But as Jay said, connect it, if it works all good !

Speed passion and hobby wing boxes work each other hpi Orion and others don't work even tho they are the sand box the programming must be slight different.

When using hobby wing software it is not always easy to convert back to speed passion stick with sp to make your life simpler but don't forget hobby wing makes the esc for the manufactured to there specs so you will find the software is always a step ahead with hobby wing.
