Hi!
Not from the U.K so I am asking you guys who have experience racing 12th scale 10.5 blinky. Need advice from you of what motors to go for. Need three perhaps. One high rpm and one torque. And one with a mix of both. What rollout spectrum are you using? We only race 13.5 boosted now but the idea is to switch next season. Thought I would cheer what I learn so confusion is less. Working hard to bring 12th scale back and it is recovering pretty well already. Thanks Alex |

Reedy, Dynamite and Thunderpower are the same teardown, so remove the outer case and they look practically identical.
I always found the LRP motors to have a very harsh bottom end. The Reedy stuff has a smoother power band and are more driveable. I've been very happy with mine. For 10.5 blinky with the Reedy stuff, wind the endbell timing up to about 40 degrees and run 65-70mm/rev on a large track (28mx12m or bigger) |
