Default Mid-West Winter Series - 2006/7

Hi All,

The Mid-West winter series dates have now been finalised.

Series will be run over 5 rounds, with 3 to count.

Dates
22nd October - Coventry
12th November - Kidderminster
17th December - Stoke
21st January - Marston
18th February - Dudley

The first two rounds will be outdoor and the remaining three will be indoor.

As the outdoor rounds will be running in conjunction with the Midlands Astro series, it has been decided that our series points will be taken from qualifying (same for all other rounds). This is to make the sorting of non Mid-West drivers easier, and also there will be no need for guest driver finals (which is always annoying for the guests)

There will NOT be a controlled tyre at any event.

Entry fees
£4 - Coventry/Kidderminster
£6 - Stoke/Marston/Dudley

Events will be primarily 2WD & 4WD, but indoor events will be catering for touring car as a non points scoring class.

Please e-mail your entries directly to the host club (addresses below) remember to include Name, BRCA No, License Grade, Class, Crystals.

Coventry – billharlow1@aol.com
Kidderminster – meredithtony645@aol.com
Stoke – geoffmoss10@hotmail.co.uk
Marston – butch@marstonmcc.co.uk
Dudley – arkay@blueyonder.co.uk

I hope that you like the changes for this year series, and enjoy the variety of venues that are on offer.

Cheers

Phil

Not to cause problems guys, but did you realise the Dudley one clashes with the Batley Supercup? I know quite a few MidWesties did the Supercup last year...

I know, I did spot that today when the date for the SuperCup was announced. But by then our dates were book with the venues.

I realise that good few Mid-West drivers goto the SuperCup, but I think it's normally only the F1 type drivers. I think the Dudley meeting will still get a good few from the local area.

Unfortunate really, but the other weekends in the month clash with events that are even closer to home.

(might even miss DUdley myself and zip upto the SuperCup. :-) )

Thanks for the heads up though.
