Threaded gold shocks??

Here's an interesting one.

A good friend is restoring his friends mid for him and it has these threaded shocks....I questioned their originality but hes sure they were in the new kit box along with a wire wing mount?? I've asked for pics of the wing mount.

From the pic these look darker gold than Kyosho golds so perhaps Duratrax?
