May I introduce you to the Optima Gold (Celebration limited edition) + many option house parts
Built with 100% NEW parts! The only thing I need to do is painting the bodyshell. Not my favorite thing to do so......

4 or 5 months and I had all the necessary parts.
Finding the parts was the easiest part! The hardest part was convincing my wife to spend 1000€ on parts for a car that will stay in a plastic box forever and never will run.......

Guys thanks for your kind comments, much appreciated!!!
Let's continue.......The Optima Mid was my last restoration.
This car is restored with many new parts.

FYI: Fitting the decals on the bodyshell costed me 4 hours of work! The decals from Marwan were NOT a direct fit.

TBH I still have my original decals for the body and these are the same as Marwan (give or take a mm). The sizes are off from the box artwork, the only issue I have is a missing red Kyosho and the fact the Marwan's don't like sticking to curves.

must say...great work though!

Don't know how the originals looks like but the decal set from Marwan was not a matter of give and take a mm! If you take a close look to my photos you can see that the entire black section from the big side decal (both sides) was removed, due to size issues. I tried 20 methods to fit the "original" decal without cutting, but this was impossible!

Maybe I can help you out with the missing red kyosho decal! Are you in the need of a small or a big kyosho decal?

If you use a normal hairdryer, they stick on curves and all surfaces. I did this with all the decals from Marwan and they are still on spot like the first minute.
