OK cool. I don't mind cos I've got grease and oil, although not the same weight oil as is recommended. Plus the instruction manual doesn't say they are not included so I was confused.

All I got was threadlock, but in fairness I prefer to use the brands I like for other lubes and oils anyway so no huge biggy.

durango is kind of cheap in this respect
no oils are included. with the 210 kit you get black grease and clear grease, but no threadlock or oils. By contrast with the 22, The Yokomo bmax 2MR and the Xray XB4 all included oils + extras The 22 had grease shock oil and thread lock The xb4 had shock oils (2 different wts) and Diff oils(2 different wts) The yoko had shock oil and greases |

There excuse being "we don't include these in the kit anymore". You can't just change a kit when you feel like it, if it sold with it before it should stay the same or you adjust the price accordingly. The manual tells you what you need and what you don't need. It doesn't mention grease or oil being required as an extra, therefore it should be provided. A few things about this build i found very annoying, this was part of it. I also emailed TD a huge email about the build, advising where the manual needs improving etc, spent a lot of time composing it trying to be helpful, didn't get so much as an acknowledgement, very poor. If i wasn't doing so well with the car, i'd have binned it purely for customer service reasons. |

I am in the process of building a new v3 myself and I have to say I am disappointed in the quality of the kit tbh. I was very excited about the build as I have always wanted a Durango, based on the great feedback about the quality of their parts. However compared to other kits I have built it doesn't even come close ![]() The instructions aren't the best either. All I can say is thank the lord for the Oople build review. This helped me out massively. I only hope the performance of the car on the track makes up for the challenges I have had with the build.... BTW - what type of cheese are the kit screws made from? ![]() |

I actually had a part missing, called Durango and it got sent arriving next day. I mentioned to that in places the screws that where shown to use where to short, and replaced them with ones 2mm longer. As long as a bit of common knowledge is used you will be fine, but not 100% great for a kit to be like this.
