![]() ![]() The Alpine A110 in particular is tiny, it was so small and low that no one could actually get in the thing, we had a job on just getting our heads inside it. When we saw the Pikes Peak replica S1 it was being rebuilt - some of the panels had previously been made of wood! The white quattro shell was in roughly the same state as it is pictured. The cars were I think owned by a Trust Fund in the majority and I notice that the particularly nice dark blue road-spec SWB Quattro Sport isn't included in the sale (it was described as David Suttons own car). I wonder if the company is a victim of the credit crunch. |

I would break a limb for the 1966 Lotus Cortina. I had a 1965 model road car, ali panels and all. As Lotus stands for Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious, you can imagine that the constant weekends fixing something eventually overcame the driving experience. But when it all worked...
