Default Show Us Your Javesteel Roll Cage

I would like to see the Javesteel roll cages that went to some of the members here in oOple. Would like to see to what Kyosho platform they where fit into; Optima, Turbo, mods, did they customize them, do they have matching color wheels and shocks, if they plan to run them, etc... I know that some have reached their destination and some are on their way, so when the new owners get the chance post the pics so we can see what you have done

I am going to start by showing the only two I kept; Goldie's roll cage and one for the Turbo Optima chassis that now is going to be turned into a red Javelin. Decided to go red trying to keep the flag colors of the Turbo Optima. It is not painted yet, but will do in the near future, so no pictures for now of the red.

I gave Goldie's roll cage a new look. I took a gold glitter spray can from my wife's arts and craft box(shhh dont tell her!!!) and sprayed the gold roll cage to see how it would look. At first I just thought I fuc%#&d up the whole thing.... It looked like a Christmass tree ornament!!!!
Then in despair and anger I gold painted the roll cage without removing the glitter!!! This is the end result.... Voila!!!! Turns out the mistake looks great!! Well at least I like it

Hi Dan,
Your's and Naushad's are on their way. The USPS clerk told me that you won't be able to see the package's progress until your country's postal service took hold of the package, so here is a print screen of the tracking numbers(not sure which is which, your's or Naushad's. Covered the track # for security reasons). Last one is Steve's. Other guys told me they saw the thread here but bought from ebay, some from the store, I hope they post pics here also

I gentleman from Japan made a special request, he asked for a brush polished Javesteel, we finished the cage today, needless to say it was a PITA. We ended making two, one for him and one for... guess who?
Will post pics later.

Received my kit today...

Was really well packed and came wih useful instructions. Craftmanship for a complex structure seems really impressive. I'm no expert in this field but my initial impression is that great care and detail to attention has gone into this product.

I hope to install soon to an optima. I'm guessing I'll need a powerful motor to run the javelin once the cage is mounted due to the extra weight...

I wanted to share this Javesteel with everyone, it was a special request from a guy in Japan. I dont think he will ever post here since I think he does not speak nor writes in english, because communications seemed to be via translator, but we managed to understand each other. He asked for a complete brush polish roll cage, so we made two, one for him and one for... oh well me This roll cage requires an entire different fabrication as to the others. It requires to weld each part first down to the last pin hole, then grind, hand file grind, sanding and abrasive sponge sanding on each part until silky smooth without any pin holes or tiny warps. If no pin holes are present after the last step then we can continue to weld the other parts. Needless to say a very slow process...
Anyways, here it is, enojy!
