Are there any alternative options to the standard Dex210 wing?
Carbon efect maybe? As I can't seem to find many apart from the standard Durango wing. |

I've been happy with the penguin ones on eBay, I think it's a member Haskins on here that sells them. Also I'm using his cab forwards body as it's got a bit more room for larger esc's.

Schumacher Talon ones are very good, it's what I tend to run. Don't rate the LMR ones much, they're too rigid so tend to crack rather than flexing. Talon has been on my DEX210 for ages now!

Try the Rudebits R1 wings, they *seem* to be the longest lasting i've had (so far)

This topic has been discussed before a while back - it might be a useful reference
![]() Anyway, my experience: The DEX210 wing bends quite quickly: it's very thin at about 0.75mm around the mounts and 0.5mm at the gurney and side dams. However, they don't tear quickly, especially considering how thin it is. The LMR ones are nice, they have a very solid base around the mounts (1.5mm) - however, at the edges (gurney, side dams) it's only 0.75mm thick. As a result the base keeps it's shape very well, but the gurney bends first (and does so quite soon). At the corners between side dams and gurney it tears soon too. However, both LMR wings I've had tore quite cleanly (straight), and once that happened they kept on going for a very long time. The RudeBits R1 wing has the same thickness at it's base (1.5mm), but the gurney and side dams are 1mm thick. It's a really rigid piece. I've yet to put mine in use, but I have high hopes for it. |

That doesn't make cutting it out the easiest but I managed to lay it on my stock one and trace round with a marker pen.
