Was just wondering if anyone has tried spray a lexan shell using Plastikote spray paint? Found it at a local hobbycraft store. Same price as the normal Tamiya spray paints but you get about 4 times as much in a can.
I would be interested in people's experience of the product if any? Thank you. |

Hi,
Never tried it on lexan bodyshells but I have heard its good stuff for sorting out various bits of car trim (i.e. repairing buttons and knobs on your dashboard etc). Sorry can't be anymore help. |

Thanks. I'll bear it in mind for when the kids destroy the car interior! Lol.

It's not worth using.
Polycarbonate spray is for polycarbonate bodies/shells because it flexes when it's dried, the Plastikote stuff will probably just crack and last about 5 minutes if you try it. |
