Default Lunchbox makeover

So I am new to this site and new to posting so I hope I am in the write place for this post. I just bought a lunch box and I want to upgrade it immensely. What are some things I can do to it? I want to affect speed and performance.

Ball races.... That's probably the first and most important mod you can do. I would suggest you do this before doing anything else.

Upgrading to a lipo is a good move, but choose carefully as they will need to be the ones that look like the old Nicad stick packs. Even then some (the turnigy ones) are a very tight fit.

3 racing do a nice set of alloy shocks that transform the cars handling. These are a direct replacement for the coil dampers.

Body mounts. These are a weak point and work out expensive to keep replacing as you have to buy the whole chrome parts sprue. There's a chap on eBay that sells Cnc machined alloy direct replacements,

The last mod I did on mine was to lock off the front gearbox to chassis mounts. This makes it much easier to hold a wheelie.

Upgrading the motor to a high turn brushless is also an option. I found a 21.5t sensored is plenty. I tried a 13.5 and it ruined the feel of the car, I may try a 17 one day.

The lunchbox is great fun, ours is over 10 years old and still going strong
