Vintage racing rules/eligibility

Howdy,

Old git here, just dug out my old rc car bits out from way back when I was racing in the 90's. I'm interested (possibly) in racing vintage, but I don't see too much information about it in the UK. It seems popular in the states and it seems to be pre 94 with stock motors and no modifications (a XX is fine, a XXCR is not).

So how popular is vintage racing here? And what specs must a car be to be allowed to race? i.e pre 1994, standard cars only or aftermarket mods allowed etc.
