Yokomo 2wd Ball Diff

Does anyone know what kind of diff balls the kit ball diff comes with for 2wd? Are they usable or should i swap em out?

The balls that come with the diff are perfect.

Main balls are Tungsten Carbide but the thrust balls are plain steel but seem ok. For piece of mind I bought the Avid caged thrust balls just because they last longer.

I've just got an avid tungsten carbide thrust race for my next rebuild. they should be good, by all accounts.
kit diff balls are tunsten carbide as DP said. I put ceramic in one of my ball diffs, and its smooth, but shreds plates faster, so overall needs a rebuild more often.

My kit diff felt like a gear diff for 5 meetings. Its still real smooth even now and im running it prerty tight. Ill also put avid thrust in when i need a rebuild but probably no need.

Just thought I would follow this up. Built the diff with kit parts and as stated already by others it is fine. Possibly one of the nicest diffs I have built

Ball diff is probably the smoothest I have ran, even tightened down quite a bit. Wish it would come with caged thrust bearings like the Schumachers though.
