Winter Indoor Season at SRCC
29/10/17
On behalf of SRCC we would like to welcome everybody back to our Winter Indoor Season, at the Ian Robinson Sports Hall, Merchant Taylors School, L23 0QP. Reminder, Sunday 29/10/17 sees the end of BST and the clocks will of gone back 1 hour. This is our first indoor meeting so it may take a bit of time finding where all our stuff is stored, everybody's help will as always be appreciated. Can I respectfully remind everybody we can't enter the Sports Hall before 9am and need to be away for 4pm. In order to get in as much racing as possible we need everybody's help in laying and putting away the track. Can I respectfully ask & remind everybody: * You must be a member of the BRCA in order to race with us. * Don't enter the Sports Hall before 9am. * Cars must be parked in Parking Bays, do not block access for Emergency Vehicles. * Control Rear Tyres. Block Tyres only must be used on the rear driven wheels. * Shock Protectors must be used on the front tower of RC Cars. * Inside the Sports Hall, Keep Fire Exit Clear, min 8 ft clearance when pitting. * Pitting, put your chairs on the carpet & tables on the floor. * RC batteries must be charged in a suitable bag or container. * All 12 volt batteries must be kept in a suitable container and not placed on the floor or carpet. * The Sports Hall and School Grounds are a no smoking area. VERY IMPORTANT: If you bring younger children with you, you are responsible for them and they must be supervised at all times. We rent the Sports Hall only, children are not allowed to play in the corridor and upper floor. Thanks for your help & assistance.

Hi Tommy, Just starting out in 1/10th from my usual 1/8th racing and was looking at coming down this weekend for my first race and wondered where you book in?

Turn up on the day for this weekend - its the first meeting indoors so will be a open relaxed meeting with plenty of help needed.

Booking in for Turf Wars is now OPEN Entry List can be found in the link on #7 We need all the usual information Name Class BRCA number PT number Entry Fees Senior Member £7 / Senior Non Member £10 Junior Member £3 / Junior Non Member £5 Control Tyres (rear) Schumacher Blocks Doors Open 9am(please don’t enter hall before) 1 round of practice ( 3 or 4 minutes depending on time) 4 rounds of qualifying (best 2 to count ) followed by 1 final for all) These meetings will be capped at 64 (8 heats /finals of 8 ) All help putting the track out and packing up at the end will be most appreciated.

Urgent
Due to a computer crash can all drivers check the entry list for Turf Wars Round 1 (found on #7) for the correct class and pt numbers and let me know asap if there are any mistakes.Also if you want to cancel your entry please let know so I can inform the reserves.
